Story teaser by Timberland - use a great snippet to draw them in
The magazine ad told part of an earthkeeper story. Brilliant (fighting wolves). It led to their site..., and etc...
OK homepage (aside from flash)
great long form content
good selection of clips about earthkeepers

Ad for product targetting older consumers
Termites are being disturbed by teens on BMX bikes at the track over their mounds.
[cut to] termites in apartment with soil falling from the ceiling in their lounge room getting angry.
termites get together after dark and move the mound 6 inches so the kid comes a cropper the next day.
cut to product shot.

7/11 - which one are you?
An ad campaign showing who buys stuff at 7am and who buys stuff at 11pm?
It would be good for stuff online such as filling a shopping cart with items and then you get told what time of day shopper you are - either 7am or 11pm.
You could even input data from grocery spends and give an actual time of day? may be a bit boring though.

Empty plastic cups dancing at the MCG
How about just the cups moving together and the sounds of the crowd where one cup with coke meets one cup with Jack Daniels?
liquor ad - cue the opera music etc....

Using faded bill posters on walls to advertise
Remember looking out the train window and seeing a tattered bill advertising an old gig or release?
Imagine if in an ad someone noticed this and (maybe) pigeons flew in formation around the ad and a shaft off sunlight came down on it?
interesting way to make the ordinary extraordinary.
